Hi-E 40™ CB by Purolator |
Combination Media Removes Particulate Plus Gases and Odors |
The goal of a Purolator hi-E 40 CB pleated filter is to promote improved indoor air quality through adsorbents for gaseous control. These carbon-loaded pleated filters clean the air by removing airborne molecular contaminants present at levels less than one part per million. Each hi-E 40 CB filter is loaded with 200 grams/sq. meter (GSM) of superior, 60% active, 20 x 50 mesh-size carbon particles. Our top-grade carbon provides six times the adsorbent surface area of standard GAC carbon, making it vastly more effective, efficient, and long-lasting. The dual layer, electrostatically charged media is pleated to substantially increase the amount of media surface area contained in the filter allowing it to provide 30-35% efficiency with a MERV-8 rating. Appropriate end users are those involved with filtration of hospital facilities, chemical plant offices/labs, pollution control areas, sewage disposal and waste management plant offices, airports, kitchens and restaurants, or commercial offices. Mark 7™ By Purolator |
The Mark 7™ self supported pleated filter has a MERV 7 rating. The filter is made of 100% synthetic media. The media pack is contained in a single piece beverage board. Self-supported Mark 7 filters eliminate the need for a metal backing to shape the pleats. They are fully incinerable, simplifying disposal. |
Hi-E™ 40 By Purolator |
The Hi-E 40 is a medium efficiency pleated filter, available in 1", 2" or 4" depths and several standard face sizes to accommodate most system requirements. The 100% hydrophobic synthetic media provides 35-40% average efficiency and nearly 95% average arrestance. The Hi-E 40 is effective as a stand-alone filter or prefilter. UL Class 2. |
Hi-E™ 40I by Purolator |
The Hi-E 40I is a medium efficiency pleated filter specially constructed for use in systems requiring UL Class I listed products. The perimeter frame is constructed of UL approved non-flammable board. The pleated media is bonded upstream and downstream to diagonal support elements to increase filter stability. The media is a special 1/8" thick, high density, ultra-fine fiberglass reinforced by a woven fiberglass mesh. The hi-E 40I offers 30-35% average efficiency and 90-93% average arrestance when tested in accordance with ASHRAE 52.1-1992. |
Hi-E™ 40H by Purolator |
The Hi-E 40H is a medium efficiency pleated filter specially constructed for use in systems involving elevated operating temperatures. The perimeter frame on the hi-E 40H is constructed of 24 gauge aluminized steel. The pleated element is supported downstream by a 24 gauge expanded aluminized steel face guard to ensure stability of the media pak at elevated temperatures. The filter media is ¼” thick, high-density ultra-fine fiberglass reinforced by a woven fiberglass mesh. The hi-E 40H is constructed to operate at 400¡F continuously and may be subjected to temperatures up to 450¡F for short durations of not more than 10 minutes |
PAF11™ by Purolator |
Purolator’s PAF 11 filters are medium efficiency, self-supported, extended surface, pleated air filters. Specifically manufactured for system applications requiring high efficiency, nonshedding filtration media. Effective in single filter applications or as improved pre-filter substitutes for disposables, permanent metal filters or media pad/frame filters. |
Synergy™ by Purolator |
SYNERGY filters fit in the same space as standard 1” return grille filters. No modification or retrofitting of your return grille is required. The deep pleat design provides eight times more filter surface area, extending service life by 6 to 12 times over standard 1” filters. The extended surface media also provides significantly higher efficiency to capture household dust and lint, pollen, mold, spores, fungi, bacteria and pet dander to name a few. |
